Celebrity Chef Reviews
There are tons of Chefs out there who have made it big time. This page is about the ones that inspire me.

Loud, pushy, and to the point Gordon Ramsay is a chef that knows no bounds. It is hard to not notice Gordon Ramsay, it seems these days he is every where. With nine Restaurants in the UK, four in the United States, one in Japan, and several others all over the world it is easy to see why Gordon Ramsay is such an amazing chef.
I know he seems harsh, and you worry sometimes about his staff members and how they can take that kind of verbal abuse. Still you have to wonder about how much of what you see on TV is real/produced. I am sure there is a side to Gordon that we don’t get to see on his shows. After all how much ratings can be attracted by a soft- non cursing chef.
I think our love affair with Gordon started with Hells Kitchen here in America, then it just grew out of control. We have watched all the episodes both new and old of the UK’s Kitchen Nightmares, Hells Kitchen and The F-Word, and fully recommend them all. Gordon has at least 11 books out (can you say love what you do,) on top of all the restaurants and TV shows.
This is a man who has forever changed the way I make scrambled eggs. I caught my husband watching this on youtube. I watched the whole thing and then of course was asked to make scrambled eggs like Ramsey had. They were absolutely delicious, I can’t remember the last time I had scrambled eggs that tasted so good.
While I wish I had a personal entry to give you from the Man himself, or even one of his staff member’s it seems they are either not eager for me to write about him, or are way too busy to answer this little bloggers questions. I am guessing it is probably the latter of the two. I can’t imagine what a day must be like in the life of Gordon, it must be crazy and hectic. Gordon Ramsay seems to pride himself on taste and presentation, and anyone who is as meticulous as he is must not have a minute to spare. Getting the chance to eat at one of his Restaurant’s would be a dream come true.
Weather you love him for his brash approach or hate him because of it, Gordon Ramsay is a Top Celebrity Chef, and impossible not to notice.

My first pick would have to be Paula Deen, I can’t watch her without adapting her country twang for a couple hours after the show. Yall has become a saying around my house. A wonderful person, so full of life watching her programs never fails to make me laugh, smile, and learn. I recently sent a email to Paula Deen, she is a very busy woman so I didn’t expect her personally to get back to me, but Phil Peterman, Paula Deen’s Webmaster had this information to share with me;
“At The Lady and Sons every week we go through:
2,100 lbs of chicken
7,000 cheese biscuits
7000 hoecakes
700 pounds of collards
350 pounds of sugar
54 quarts heavy cream
280 pounds fresh bananas (for banana pudding)”
I also asked if he had any interesting food tips he offered this up
“My personal favorite tip is that if you over-salt a soup you can
remove some of the salt by adding peeled potatos, letting them cook
and then removing and throwing away the potatos.” ~ Phil Peterman ( pauladeen.com Webmaster)
I have tried a couple of Paula Deen’s recipes, but the one I loved the most was her Apple Butter Pumpkin Pie.
Paula is one of my inspiration’s for starting this blog. Watching her cook and seeing how much the Joy of Cooking brings her, motivated me to start bakedblog.com.
I have gotten a lot of inspiration from Celebrity Chef’s, and will write other reviews on those, but she is the first and foremost famous Chef in the world, at least in my mind anyway.
Paula doesn’t get too fancy, but puts the Southern charm and love into everything she prepares. I hope someday, someone sees me, and my food as something close to that. The things she has overcome in her life, and the fact that family is so important to her, are just some of the many reason’s why Paula is my favorite Celebrity Chef. She started small, and stayed strong, and has come so far. Paula thank you for doing what you do.
Someday a trip to Savannah is in store for me, but I am scared that I may not return home. Who are your Inspirations in the Kitchen?
