Last week I was tagged to do a post on 7 useful facts about me. I am excited of course because this is the first time that I have been tagged for something like this. I would like to thank On The Bricks for tagging me, you made my day because I had been waiting, and wondering when someone was going to include me in a list like this.

I had to think for a while to come up with 7 useful facts about me, the definition of useful is:

1. Having a beneficial use; serviceable
2. Being of practical use

So without further ado my seven useful facts:

1. At any given moment I could give you a fact about penguins, if you needed to know what type of penguin you were looking at I could tell you. I have had a love affair with Penguins since I was a little girl way before all the Penguin hype happened.

2. I am a lover not a fighter, and find it very hard to resist helping people solve conflicts that arise. I am very good at listening to problems and offering advice.

3. Kids, always been great with kids, maybe it is because I have watched and had a hand in raising 4 kids plus my own, you can bring that number up to 6 once my sister has her baby. Changing diapers, making bottles, calming down a baby, toddler, or child is a breeze for me.

4. In the cooking and baking department. I find now more then ever people are calling me, and asking me for help on how to cook this, or what temperature should this be baked at.

5. Great memory, My husband wouldn’t say this is useful because I always remember what he said or promised and sometimes that gets him into trouble. If you are trying to remember a song, or wondering what happened on a show a week ago if I have heard it, or seen it I can give you great details, or find that missing lyric, and I don’t even have to use Google.

6. Fast reader, I don’t know where I developed this talent, and I know I am not the fastest reader around. However my husband finds the pace I read amazing and is always stunned at how quickly I can finish a book and still retain the facts about it.

7. Photography. I wasn’t sure how useful this was going to be until last Christmas when I had finished the Family picture DVD, pushed it into the DVD player and let everyone watch what I had made. I felt so very proud when they laughed and awwed and ohhhed. They didn’t even ask me to make another one next year they told me I was going to.
