Happy Independence Day

FireworksI hope everyone has a great 4th of July be safe, keep water near by lol.

I had a blast last night, our friend Jim came over, and I got my birthday present from hubby. I got Guitar Hero the PC version. I can’t even begin to explain how much fun I had playing it last night. Very cool game and one that the whole family can enjoy.

The night started off with a bang anyway besides Guitar Hero our friend cooked dinner for us. They went to the whole foods store and bought a bunch of good food some Chilean sea bass, and just the way he cooked it was sooooooo so very good. Plus I had been having this big craving for Crab cakes and they got those too omg, my craving was fulfilled.

Of course I will be posting pictures and a recipe from Jim here in the short future, he paired the dish with a risotto and some spinach. I mean just out of this world I was lost in food heaven for the night.  Then at like 9:30 pm after food and some Guitar Hero we went out and bought our fireworks. We probably spent too much money, but it is only once a year and we do enjoy our fireworks.

I am so excited about today, we are going over to my Aunt’s she has a nice piece of land with a lake and plenty of room to shoot off some big ones. Plus she is way out in the country and no one cares because no one else is really close enough to hear too much. A lot of my family will be there and we are BBQ’ing doing it up right.

So what is new with me? Well I just got a new computer! For my job, my boss and I chipped in for it together, and I just love it. It is a Dell, an XPS 420 with a quad core. It is fast, and has lots, lots, lots of space on it. I will also be taking some pictures and posting those when I get a chance.

Right now though I need to go do some work, no I don’t have to, but I decided I wanted to do a little work today. I had to stop in though and wish you all a Happy 4th!
