Rage Against Bottled Water

Bottled WaterWhat the hell kind of title is that?

Do I want to get rid of bottled water, are my panties all in a bunch because of all the waste bottled water is producing? Hell no I am not, and who are these elitist slobs who are devoting so much of their time and energy to try and get Bottled water Banned. You have got to be kidding me, you can’t be serious. I read this story and just sat here dumb founded. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,389362,00.html

How is it possible that we as a country can work so hard for such a stupid thing. Why can we get bills passed and States to raise taxes on these idiotic ideas, but our borders are still without protection. How can people worry about this so much when our country is in such a sad state of affairs.

It’s almost like all of these Global warming fanatics needed something new. They had an “oh shit people are finding out the truth” moment and started to target something else.  If we are going to ban bottled water for the waste it causes why not ban all bottles? Coke, Pepsi, even some Brewers are all packaging their drinks in a bottle, and their beverages are worse for you then bottled water. Can you not think of a more brilliant idea then bottled water? Water in a bottle that we can easily ship to any disaster zone across the US. Water in a bottle that could end up saving your life god forbid you somehow got stuck somewhere with no help in very hot temperatures.

Instead of spreading Bottled Water hate, maybe you could focus that energy into raising more awareness for recycling you could host programs with in your city, state, that make it easier for people to get their EVIL empty bottles that previously held water in them taken care of in a more environmentally friendly way. Tsk tsk to you green thinkers instead of working to fix a problem, you spread hate and try to ban it. You raise taxes on a product that in most places is already overpriced (it’s water for freak sakes,) you work so hard for something that lets say, can’t even compare to the fact that a terrorist could walk across our border and do something horrible to our country. You work so hard to hate instead of working hard to fix a problem. Ban it? That is your solution?

Hey FoxNews you ran the story….it’s a stupid story really, but it does express both sides, and I hope that people aren’t stupid enough to keep up with this crap. Bottled water isn’t going anywhere it is way too important. So just give it up, and work harder on something more important.

That’s my Rant for the Day. Buy Bottled Water, it’s good for a lot of things, but if you can get it from the tap pick that instead. Try and recycle your bottles….I guess that goes for me too lol.

Have a great day

Rachel

  1. I liked your point about all the pepsi and coke bottles. Surely there’s just as many soda bottle as there are water bottles. If people would just recycle this wouldn’t be such an issue (myself included).

  2. Cool fun. Like me. Thanks.
I like to cook very at home. Greetings from Poland.

  3. Hello, I drink a lot of bottled water, and often the quality is superior to the water delivered by the city.
The bottles should be recycled, I think that is a reasonable requirement.
