What’s your Key Ingredient?
Have you ever wanted an easy way to store, catalog, even print your own recipes?
Maybe you want to be able to share your delicious ideas with the world?
I am very excited today to be telling you about KeyIngredient.com a website where you can store and share your recipes. I don’t know how many times I have lost recipes that I either created or was given. I try to keep them all together in a nice little recipe box, but they get taken out moved around and then lost. Key Ingredient gives you a place to not only store your recipes, but an option to share them with your family, friends, or anyone who cares to view them. Of course you can also choose to keep your collection private as well.
Key Ingredient can store all of your recipes from you most complicated ones, to all your Simple Recipes
One of the really cool things I saw when checking out Key Ingredient is that you can place all your recipes into a cookbook and then print it out. How cool is that? Your very own cookbook, full of all your great recipe’s that you can give to family members or friends. They also have this neat widget you can place on your blog, which you see below. It displays your recipe with, or without a picture, lists the ingredients and the directions on how to make the recipe. They even have a feature that lets you select a recipe and places it into a grocery list for you. So if you find someone else recipe on the site and you need to go shopping to get all of the items on the recipe it will compile them into a list complete with how much you need of each item, and you can print it out.
Signing up was very simple, and entering one of my own recipes was as easy as pie. It is really great to find a site not only where I can share my recipes with others and receive feedback, but also to check out what everyone else is creating.
So what are you waiting for? Add your Key Ingredient today and take comfort in the knowledge that your recipes will be safe for generations to come.

Thanks for the great site. My bookmarks are a mess as it is, so I need something like this!
Does anyone remember the old MenuMaker or whatever it was from Win 3.1? I still have literally THOUSANDS of recipes in that format. Many of them were duplicates, recirculated in different collections, but still. I cannot find a copy of that program!
I still have a working 3.11 computer and I specifically got it up and going to store recipes through MM, but then I couldn’t find the prog!
I’m pretty sure it sold-out to a larger corporation and changed its name, but there has to be someone who remembers it and knows where a copy is. I would love to find one!
Thanks!
This sounds like a great find. I’m heading over to check it out now. Thanks so much for sharing it.
